Deutsch: Das grüne St.Galler Wappen zeigt ein Bündel mit acht Stäben, in deren Mitte ein Beil eingeschlossen ist. Die Stäbe symbolisieren die acht Bezirke, aus denen sich der Kanton zur Zeit der ersten Kantonsverfassung von 1803 zusammensetzte. Die Bänder stehen für den Zusammenhalt und das Beil für die gemeinsame Stärke.
