Description
English: U.S. Army Sgt. Jacob Spaeth, from Burlington, Wash., assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 1-377 Field Artillery (Air Assault), 17th Fires Brigade, uses a RADIAC AN/VDR-2 set to test for harmful radiation in the Hamden Scrap Metal Yard in Basra, Iraq, March 23. Spaeth is accompanied by other members of his Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Operations/ Hazardous Material Team.
